Dr. Shiva Prakash Srinivasan

Head of Clinical Services

Hello world, I’m Dr. Shiva Prakash Srinivasan, the head of clinical services and training in the Department of Youth Mental Health at SCARF. I’m a trained child and adolescent psychiatrist, having gained training in India and the US. I bring my clinical expertise to work primarily with adolescents and young adults, as well as their families. I take great pleasure in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, and in building their ability to work effectively with youth. My area of interest is in developing systems of care for the youth.

Outside the office hours, I’m a fitness enthusiast with a penchant for motivating my colleagues to join me for a walk or a run. I’m attached to dogs – both within and outside the house. I love movies and TV series that get me thinking. A die-hard fan of Calvin and Hobbes and the Asterix and Tintin series, but I have been known to read anything lying around.
