Sara Victoria

Research Assistant

Hi, I’m Sara Victoria and despite what the name might suggest I’m not related to Queen Victoria. I currently work as a Research Assistant in the Department of Youth Mental Health at Scarf, where I support projects aimed at improving the mental well-being of young people. My work involves a blend of research and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to explore the complexities of youth mental health in today’s world. It’s a space I’m deeply passionate about, and I feel privileged to contribute to meaningful work that has the potential to drive real change. I have completed my Masters in Psychology specializing in counselling and psychotherapy. That background has given me both the academic foundation and the practical insight into human experience. I’m especially interested in how therapeutic approaches can be adapted to better resonate with diverse youth populations.
Outside of work, I’m most often found indoors—usually curled up in my room watching movies or binge-watching a TV series. But once in a while—every few months or so—you might actually catch me outside, exploring the world beyond my comfort zone. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, I like to make it count.
