Anika Salomi

Clinical Psychologist

Hello! I’m Anika Salomi, a Clinical Psychologist with the Youth Mental Health team at SCARF, where I’ve been since completing my MPhil at Manipal. Alongside my work in India, I’m also a member of the British Psychological Society and the HCPC (UK).

At SCARF, I discovered my love for working with children and young people—whether that’s in therapy, simply showing up to listen, or creating safe spaces in schools and communities.
Somewhere along the way, I realized this isn’t just work, it is my calling. And if that calling sometimes comes with a side of crayons, awkward teenage silences, or unexpected wisdom from a 12-year-old—well, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Beyond the walls of my work, I enjoy slow, philosophical films—the more existential, the better! Art in all its forms—whether theatre, music, or paintings—remains an important source of inspiration and reflection for me. At home, I share my space with my goofy ginger cat, who serves as a daily reminder of who truly runs the house and keeps me grounded in the most humbling ways.
